GEERLOFS JOINS SYCLEF

GEERLOFS, a Dutch company specialized in industrial refrigeration and HVAC engineering, based in Rotterdam (The Netherlands) and established in Nairobi (Kenya), has joined SYCLEF, an international group specialized in commercial refrigeration, industrial refrigeration, and air conditioning (HVAC).

With more than 3,000 employees, SYCLEF is one of the leading players in the sector. Thanks to its strong local presence, complementary areas of expertise, and operational proximity, SYCLEF combines the responsiveness and customer focus of a network of SMEs with the strength and resources of a major international group..

GEERLOFS is the first Dutch company to join SYCLEF, marking the beginning of a new phase of growth in the BENELUX region. By building on SYCLEF’s network strength, GEERLOFS aims to pursue its development and strengthen its position in its core markets.

Headquartered in Rotterdam (The Netherlands), GEERLOFS employs around 90 people under the leadership of Radboud BLOM (Managing Director), Simon VOS (Operations Director), and Marco VISSER (Sales Director) — all three remaining in their management positions.

Founded in 1933, GEERLOFS draws on more than 90 years of experience and technical expertise, passed down from generation to generation, in the design of installations for agriculture, the agri-food and pharmaceutical industries, laboratories and vertical farming.

Specialized in industrial refrigeration and HVAC, GEERLOFS combines technical excellence with environmental responsibility, particularly by promoting the use of natural refrigerants such as ammonia, propane, and CO₂.

GEERLOFS also carries out a significant part of its activity internationally, with a branch office in Kenya, as well as representations and ongoing projects across several continents, notably in Africa, the United States and Canada.
