QUINN DOWNES JOINS SYCLEF
Dublin (Ireland) and Meyreuil (France) – March 13, 2026. Quinn Downes, an Irish group specializing in HVAC installations, is joining SYCLEF, an international player specializing in commercial refrigeration, industrial refrigeration, and air conditioning (HVAC). This transaction marks a major milestone in SYCLEF’s European growth strategy.
The transaction remains subject to approval by the Irish competition authority, the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission.
Based in Dublin, the Quinn Downes Group was founded in 1999 and is now one of Ireland’s leading players in the installation of HVAC systems (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning), with recognized expertise in critical infrastructure, particularly data centers.
As its business has grown and demand for service and maintenance solutions has increased, the Group has structured its operations around two specialized operating companies: Quinn
Downes Installation and Quinn Downes Service & Maintenance.
The Group currently employs more than 130 people in Ireland.
This strategic partnership marks SYCLEF’s entry into the Irish market and strengthens its growing presence in Europe. As a leading player in the design, installation, and maintenance of refrigeration and HVAC systems, SYCLEF aims to support the future growth of the Quinn Downes Group while preserving the Group’s identity, autonomy, and culture of excellence.
