SYCLEF AND QUINN DOWNES FORMALISE THEIR PARTNERSHIP FOLLOWING APPROVAL BY THE IRISH COMPETITION AUTHORITY

Dublin (Ireland) and Meyreuil (France) – 29 April 2026 - Quinn Downes, an Irish group specialising in HVAC installations, and SYCLEF, an international network specialising in commercial refrigeration, industrial refrigeration and air conditioning (HVAC), announce the establishment of their strategic partnership, following formal approval by the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC), the Irish competition authority. This milestone marks the effective integration of the Quinn Downes group into the SYCLEF network.
A partnership now fully operational
Announced in March 2026, this partnership was subject to regulatory approval by the CCPC. With authorisation now granted, Quinn Downes and SYCLEF are able to begin a fully operational collaboration.
Quinn Downes preserves its identity, operational autonomy and corporate culture, while now benefiting from the support of the SYCLEF network to drive its future growth in the Irish market.
A strengthened presence in the Irish market
With over 140 employees and a specialisation in HVAC systems installation (heating, ventilation and air conditioning), combined with recognised expertise in critical infrastructure — particularly data centres — Quinn Downes represents a strong foundation for SYCLEF's presence in Ireland. The group operates through two specialist entities, Quinn Downes Installation and Quinn Downes Service & Maintenance, covering the full lifecycle of HVAC installations.
With this new step, SYCLEF reaffirms its European growth strategy and strengthens a network that now brings together 70 operating companies, over 136 locations and 3,550 employees across Europe (France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands, Ireland, Poland), Africa (Kenya) and the Indian Ocean (Réunion Island and Mauritius).
